This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and an integrally cast bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the stainless steel shaft, which is covered by a bronze shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal with ceramic seat halves and EPT rubber components maintains system integrity at 125 PSI. This pump includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and provides a self-flushing seal design to assist with fluid management.
Powered by a 100 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, this unit utilizes 380-460V / 3PH power with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
