This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and 4" discharge, both with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal design features a dry shaft that prevents contact with circulating fluid, while the slip-on shaft sleeve facilitates maintenance. The pump uses a rear pullout design and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 184 JM frame with feet and adheres to NEMA standards for 40°C ambient operating conditions. The motor is categorized as Super E premium efficiency, meeting MG1-12.55 standards. The unit operates with counter-clockwise rotation and has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
