This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing and cover. The pump assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft, flush seal line taps for optional filtration, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge assists with self-venting.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP WEG motor. It is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 284 JM frame with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz. The pump utilizes an across-the-line starting option and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It has a PEI rating of 0.89 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature environment.
