This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration promotes self-venting. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation to protect the seal from particles.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with a 145JM frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump runs on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.83.
