This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller measuring 7-1/4" in nominal diameter. It includes a bronze wear ring and utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a stainless steel shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal assembly features a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. Integrated pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections are provided, along with flush seal line taps for system maintenance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 145 T frame. Power requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features a DOE PEI value of 0.81.
