This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal configured with a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber for clean water applications up to 300 °F. The pump assembly features a rear pullout design, a dry shaft construction, and flush seal line taps. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections, and the discharge is positioned at the top center line to simplify piping layouts.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 184 JM frame with feet. The motor is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The system includes AEGIS shaft grounding, operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature, and complies with NEMA standards. The motor efficiency meets MG1-12.55 requirements, and the assembly has a PEI of 0.93. The unit is constructed without a wear ring and is set for CCW rotation.
