This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 145T frame. It is configured for 230-460V/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The drive connection uses a standard Woods flexible coupler and greasable bearings, and the unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
