This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance. The assembly includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The design utilizes a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, and includes flush seal line taps for system filtration.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 256T frame. The system is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and utilizes a Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a standard coupler guard and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and the pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
