This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and the assembly is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges, a rear pullout design for servicing, and flush seal line taps. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor motor in a 256 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the assembly is rated for a 104°F ambient temperature. The product conforms to NEMA standards and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.89.
