This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure and a JM motor frame style with feet. The unit operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and complies with NEMA standards. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. The unit is rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 250 °F.
