This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts. Flush seal line taps are included to allow for the installation of a filter.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure and a JM motor frame style with feet. The motor is designed for 230-460/60/3PH power and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line. This pump has a PEI of 0.87 and is configured for a 40°C ambient environment.
