This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing without a wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing an operating temperature rating of 250 °F. The pump construction includes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 100 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 405TS NEMA frame. It is configured for 460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting capabilities and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and the pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.94. The equipment is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
