This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The assembly utilizes greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3, supporting across-the-line starting and featuring AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It includes a Woods coupler for power transmission. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
