This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from circulating fluid. An EPT and ceramic mechanical seal ensures fluid containment within the assembly. The pump operates at a pressure capacity of 125 PSI. Center-line discharge construction facilitates air venting, while the bronze impeller remains hydraulically balanced to support consistent operation.
The 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM and incorporates Aegis grounding, powered by 380-460V / 3PH input, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
