This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber supports operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. Flush seal line taps are included for the installation of an optional filter.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This unit is configured with a 143 JM frame with feet and requires 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. It features across the line starting and premium efficiency that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The ambient temperature rating is 40°C, and the unit maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.78.
