This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. Its construction incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and a rear pullout design for service access. The discharge is oriented at the top center line to simplify piping layouts.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 324 JM frame style with feet and rotates in a CCW direction. It meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The operating environment is rated for 40°C ambient temperature. This product complies with NEMA standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
