This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It features a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design, which prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system maintenance and monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH power supply. The motor is mounted in a 184 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet premium efficiency standards. The assembly uses a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge to reduce piping strain and simplify service. This pump is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.86.
