This end suction pump integrates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Engineered with a dry shaft design, this assembly prevents fluid contact with the shaft, while the ceramic and EPT mechanical seal provides a pressure rating of 125 PSI. A centerline discharge orientation allows for positive air venting, and the internal components are constructed to maintain hydraulic balance.
The assembly utilizes a 20 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V 3PH electrical supply and achieving a DOE PEI of 0.48. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with an electro-mechanical bypass and a main fused disconnect with 100kA SCCR, and holds an enclosure NEMA 3R / IP 64 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
