This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting and simplified piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor, which meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor features an ODP enclosure and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. This unit utilizes a 145JM frame style with feet. The pump complies with energy efficiency requirements with a PEI of 0.83.
