This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" bronze impeller. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP, TEFC Baldor motor. The motor is a NEMA T-frame 215, rated for 230-460/60/3 power supply, 40°C ambient temperature, and premium efficiency levels meeting MG1-12.55 standards. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard. The pump utilizes greasable bearings and is configured for across the line starting. The performance efficiency index (PEI) is 0.91.
