This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction connection, a 4" discharge connection, and an 11" nominal impeller diameter. The unit uses a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It is equipped with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft fitted with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F in clean water. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and gauge ports for suction and discharge monitoring.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is built on a NEMA 254 T-frame and is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. It meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA and a Woods coupler. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature environment.
