This close-coupled end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from circulating fluids and is engineered with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance. A ceramic seat and EPT rubber components form the mechanical seal, which operates at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI without a wear ring. This pump includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to monitor system conditions.
The 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 3450 RPM with Aegis grounding on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, achieving a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
