This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft, which is covered by a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of ceramic seat halves and EPT rubber, rated for 250 PSI operation. The volute casing allows for center-line discharge and incorporates integrated gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections to monitor system pressure.
The 10 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operates at 3450 RPM and incorporates Aegis grounding for a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
