This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is equipped with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The internal design incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft and includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
This pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor is a 213T frame style operating at 1750 RPM with counter-clockwise rotation. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This configuration meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55 and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.91. The unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
