This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is housed in a NEMA 213 T-frame and meets premium efficiency standards, including the use of AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard with a Woods coupler. This unit maintains a 40°C ambient rating and has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
