This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction port and a 5" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump casing is composed of cast iron and houses a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This pump is configured for clean water applications and utilizes a dry shaft design.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 184T frame. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH, with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump incorporates greasable bearings, maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating, supports CCW rotation, and has a DOE PEI value of 0.96.
