This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a 1-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The unit uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout configuration to facilitate servicing.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA 184 JM frame with feet and is configured for 230-460/60/3 power. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The motor is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration. The pump assembly does not include a drip cover and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
