This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. It features a dry shaft design with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 25 HP, 230-460/60/3 PH Baldor motor in a NEMA 284 T Frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a DOE PEI of 0.9. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA. It utilizes a standard flexible coupler connecting to a bearing frame with greasable bearings, designed for a 40 °C ambient environment.
