This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency TEFC motor in a 184T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH, meeting MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the motor to the pump shaft.
