This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with an 8" suction and a 6" discharge, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It incorporates an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Buna rubber. The unit supports fluid temperatures up to 225 °F and includes flush seal line taps for filtration as well as pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design enables maintenance without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
This unit is powered by a 40 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is a TEFC enclosure, frame 324 JM with feet, configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. It operates at 1750 RPM with CCW rotation and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The pump assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
