This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump construction includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components allows for operation in fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and seal flush line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP WEG premium efficiency motor. It is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a NEMA 284 T frame, and a power supply of 230-460/60/3 PH. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. This pump supports across the line starting and operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C. The equipment meets NEMA standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.9.
