This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP, 230/460/60/3PH motor with an ODP enclosure. This Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor utilizes a NEMA 184 frame, while the pump assembly features a power frame size H and a Woods flexible coupler with a coupler guard. The pump is mounted on a structural steel base with an integrated drip pan and supports across the line starting. This equipment is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI value of 0.86 and an HI Energy Rating of 14.
