This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump incorporates pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps for filter installation. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor uses a 254 JM frame with feet and is compliant with NEMA standards. This pump provides premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 requirements and has a DOE PEI of 0.91. It is set for counter-clockwise rotation and operates in a 40 °C ambient environment using across-the-line starting.
