This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 8" suction and 6" discharge connections equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact with the shaft, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A mechanical seal is installed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The rear pullout design enables servicing without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain.
This unit is configured with a 50 HP Baldor ODP motor and operates at 1750 RPM. It uses a 326 JM motor frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet NEMA premium efficiency standards. The electrical configuration supports a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
