This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 10" suction and an 8" discharge, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 225 °F. The unit includes greasable bearings and provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 100 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 405 NEMA T-frame. It is configured for a 460/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard over a standard Woods coupler. This equipment meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
