This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 254T NEMA frame. The motor is an ODP, premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with a DOE PEI of 0.92.
