This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction port and a 3" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The unit includes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout configuration for service access.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It uses a 284 JM motor frame style with feet and operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature. This model features a top center line discharge to simplify piping and has a PEI value of 0.9. The pump is configured for across the line starting.
