This end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft covered by a bronze shaft sleeve. Engineered with a dry shaft design, the assembly prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and operates at a pressure limit of 125 PSI without a wear ring. The unit utilizes a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal to maintain fluid containment during operation.
The motor assembly utilizes 5 HP, premium efficiency, TEFC, 1750 RPM, Aegis grounding, and 380-460V / 3PH power, achieving a DOE PEI of 0.45. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
