This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump casing is made of cast iron and is paired with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F.
The unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, conforming to a NEMA 215 T frame. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH, utilizing across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding device. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a standard Woods coupler and a bearing frame with greasable bearings, rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
