This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 3" suction, and a 2-1/2" discharge. The pump utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft fitted with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor configured for a 254 T-frame. This motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across the line starting. The assembly is installed on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler enclosed by an OSHA-compliant guard. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and has a PEI of 0.87.
