This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze inside a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are included.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a factory-installed drip cover. The motor is configured with a 286 JM frame with feet and supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design for service and a top center line discharge. The DOE PEI value is 0.97.
