This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft. A mechanical seal is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F and is suitable for clean water applications. Additional features include pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and a rear pullout design for maintenance without disturbing system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option. It is built on a 326 JM motor frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and operates in 40°C ambient conditions with CCW rotation. The pump assembly has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
