This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal uses a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for clean water service at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a NEMA 215 T-frame and supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. It meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods standard coupler with a coupler guard. The bearing frame features greasable bearings. This model has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
