This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing and a stainless steel impeller. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design that integrates a bronze shaft sleeve and a stainless steel shaft to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. A mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat and EPT rubber controls leakage. The assembly carries a 125 PSI pressure rating. Integral mounting feet on the casing provide structural support for the pump, while the design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
The motor provides 75 HP at a Premium Efficiency rating in a TEFC enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM, and utilizes Aegis Grounding, powered by 380-460V / 3PH, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
