This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 184 T frame. It is configured for a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor using a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This pump model meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.86.
