This base-mounted end suction pump integrates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design, which protects the internal shaft from circulating fluids at pressures up to 125 PSI. A replaceable bronze shaft sleeve surrounds the stainless steel shaft, facilitating maintenance while providing a durable contact surface. Sealing performance is managed by a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber components, ensuring operation within the pump volute.
Operating with a 60 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor at 1750 RPM, the pump utilizes Aegis grounding on a 200-230V / 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
