This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 10" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design eliminates contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal utilizes a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in clean water temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disconnecting the system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is built on a 215JM frame with feet, meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a PEI of 0.94.
