This end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the pump shaft. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber provides fluid containment within the unit. The pump casing is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 125 PSI.
Powered by a 3 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, the unit accepts 200-230V 3PH power and achieves a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
