This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design for maintenance.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 324 JM frame style with feet, and an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. It is rated for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and a 40°C ambient temperature. This unit meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, with a calculated PEI of 0.92.
