This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with center-line discharge and a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal assembly is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The internal design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump is driven by a 15 HP, 1150 RPM motor in a 284T NEMA frame. It operates on 230-460/60/3 PH power and features an ODP enclosure. The Baldor motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The system uses greasable bearings and is configured for across the line starting.
